Sometimes I even measure an existing frame with a ruler before ordering anything new. If many different people say the same thing about a product, it is worth paying attention. When it comes to eyewear, the small details really matter over time. For light summer tops I keep to my normal size to avoid a baggy look.

Personally I like a mix of design, comfort and realistic pricing. Reviews that mention long term use are more valuable than comments written on day one. I like when a shop clearly shows PD, lens height and bridge width in millimeters. When it comes to eyewear, the small details really matter over time. I also check if the lenses have any blue light filter or anti-reflection coating. If anyone has long term experience with certain online shops, I am always curious to read it. Footwear is even harder because different brands cut shoes very differently.
